Know Civil Rights - Protests as Catalyst for Change

From Stonewall to the Women's March, hear about the protests that have led to change. Community Librarian Nate Pedersen explores the history of protests that have shaped our history. Nate is a librarian, historian, and writer. He is the co-author of the recently published "Quackery: The Worst Ways to Cure Everything" with Lydia Kang. He is a Community Librarian with Deschutes Public Library and serves on the Board of Directors for the Deschutes County Historical Society & Museum. He is a member-at-large, representing Central Oregon, on the Oregon Heritage Trees Commission. He also lectures frequently on historical topics around the state.
