Sisters: Rock Your Chakras!

Friday, June 15

Discover how rocks and crystals assist transformation and healing. Come prepared to get your hands a little dirty and to actually meet and interact with the rocks, minerals, crystals and gemstones we are learning about In our modern world, phrases like ?getting grounded' have moved from being seen as 'new-agey' and 'woo woo' to being used in common, everyday vernacular in contexts ranging from yoga and meditation classes to discussions about developing corporate culture. And although words like 'grounded' of course have and communicate meaning and intention all on their own, they actually are rarely used in connection with the true context from which they come: Nature, and ultimately Life! So, what does it really mean to get and be grounded? Well, ultimately, it means remembering and consciously reconnecting with the larger sources and cycles of Life, and the natural world as our greatest teacher (and healing ally, we might add!). And one powerful way of doing just this is to literally come back into direct contact with the ground: aka Earth, and thus, the diverse forms/compounds/materials the Earth takes in and around us! Join us for an experiential exploration of rocks, minerals, crystals and gemstones and how they can be used intuitively and practically to assist transformation and healing and create greater harmony in and between our physical body and more subtle bodies, including the chakras (as well as in physical spaces, like your home!). For example, at a time when things like wi-fi and electromagnetic pollution are inundating our environments and lives in a way we have never experienced before, wouldn't you love to know and put into practice Earth's natural (and mostly simple) remedies for helping transmute these kinds of harmful energies?! Note: this is experiential, and although there will be some take-home handouts, come prepared to get your hands a little dirty and to actually meet and interact with the rocks, minerals, crystals and gemstones we are learning about!
